TabTrade Overview - What to Know Before You Sign Up
The Broker — What It IsTab Trade opened in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker. That last detail is relevant. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker. The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is broad.PlatformsAvailable: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Many people prefer it after using both.FIX API is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should make the platform set when it arrives.Accounts and PricingThree levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade has no minimum.VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.Execution SpeedThis is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.Combine that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.SafetyThis is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there. That said. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. But be part of your decision. The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal works is your call.Welcome OfferTab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you commit.Everything in one place, with the full fee table, read more withdrawal policies, and regulatory details, is at Trade The Day.
