Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know
TabTrade — The Short VersionTabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker. That last detail tells you something. It means the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But preferable to a random name you cannot trace. They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.Market coverage: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is not narrow. The SoftwareYou get: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly coming. That would be a good addition when it lands.CostsThree account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits beginners.Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.InfrastructureThe speed is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. The point is the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.Pair those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get makes sense. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity. The FSRA QuestionHere is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there. That said. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this make it safe. But inform how you think about it.The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities. The BonusTabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.Everything in one place, covering regulation, withdrawals, pricing, and the bonus terms, more info is at TradeTheDay.
